Twilight

Twilight is a teenage romance between human teenager Isabella (Bella) Marie Swan and vampire Edward Anthony Mason Cullen. Edward is a vegitarian vampire which means he drinks animal blood instead of human.

Vampires

The vampires in Stephenie Meyer's novels are slightly different to the traditional vamps. They don't burst into fire in sunlight, they sparkle like diamonds. They don't have fangs but very sharp teeth that contain venom for turning others into vamps. The only way to kill them is to rip them up into wee bits and set them on fire. All vamps are inhumanly beautiful, pale, strong and fast.

Veggie Vamps

As with all vamps in the saga the colour of their eyes depend on their level of hunger. For veggie vamps their eye colour is golden when they are completely full and they darken to black with hunger.

Non-Veggie Vamps

Normal vampires (is that possible?) eyes are red and, again, darken to black with hunger.

Special Vamps

Some vampires have special powers, like Edward can hear people's thoughts (everyone exept Bella's, and he can only hear the tone of Charlie's i.e. happy, sad, angry), Alice can see the future but it changes often as it is based on peoples descisions and it is later discovered that she can only see species that she's been-human and vampire. Jasper can read and control people's emotions.

Basically it's my cure for PHPD-Post Harry Potter Depression. Read it! There's an expression I like 'You haven't read Twilight? Go shoot yourself in the foot.'
